WHY YOU SHOULDN’T DELAY YOUR GOALS!
Submitted by: Jalen
Today I just wanted to go over the topic about why each and every single one of you should not delay your goals! I know it seems like a topic that everyone seems to cover every so often but this will be an article that you can relate to in your everyday lives. Is there something that you always thought about doing when it comes to your career? You think about it day and night or even before you go to bed? When you wake up in the morning?
If that’s so, then it’s something that your called to do, it’s something that you want to do and most importantly, it’s something that you should be doing believe it or not. I completely get it because I was put in the same situation: parents wanting you to go to school to be like everybody else, or parents pressuring you to get into something you really don’t want to do and you become scared. Scared that if you do what you really want to do, people will doubt you, people won’t support, people will take you for a joke but guess what? It’s all apart of the process when it comes to succeeding and growing so whatever you want to do in life that you’ve been yearning to do your whole entire life, start now while you can and work hard to get to where you need to be.
I’m completely not knocking school either because school is a great source to have and education is always key but if your dream doesn’t require that for your whole life, then why waste time, money and effort into something you know you’re not passionate about? It won’t be an easy road because you will go through tons of downfalls, rough patches, it get uncomfortable but that’s all apart of being successful. It all starts with knowing all of these things first before thinking the road to success will be easy because it really isn’t, but it all starts with trusting yourself and believing you could do it! I wasted so much time doing things in my “career” that I thought I wanted to do, thought I would be interested in, thought I would passionate but the truth is I know what I wanted to do and new what I exceed in and told myself that wasting time is over now! I have to follow my passion, my dreams, my goals and no matter how long it takes for me to reach that point, it doesn’t matter because I will work as hard as I can until I get there and even then I just don’t settle and that’s what every single one of you should do!
Every single one of you have the potential to make it and guess what? YOU WILL MAKE IT. You will succeed in anything that you want to do and will get as far as you need to be. We were all called on this earth for a purpose, a vision, a motive and you may not know what that is right this second but you will definitley know very soon and once you find out, work as hard as you can from there on in. I must also say that on your journey to success, you CAN NOT do this alone because doing it alone can put a delay on your goals.
Have a team who is just as motivated as you, driven as you, passionate as you are and go from there. Doing it by yourself is one thing, but having a team helping you is so much more better and efficient for your life in what you want to do so never ever give up on that. Times will get tough but even through those tough times stick it through and continue working on you, your craft, you empire, and most importantly you growth! So what I’m really trying to get at here is to never ever delay your goals because the more you delay them, the more time wasted and we don’t have time for that because we all want to be something right? I hope that was a yes because I’m with you on that one and want to see every single one of you strive including myself. Stay safe, be healthy, build your career and Never give up because out of all the people you think that don’t support you, there’s always that one person on the sideline watching you from afar that does. REMEMBER YOU WILL MAKE IT!
